If you are unable to log in WeChat via linked mobile number, email address, QQ or Facebook, you can follow the instructions below to retrieve your WeChat account:
1. Tap More Options at the bottom of WeChat login page and select Security Center.
2. Tap Account Recovery to submit your request as instructed.
3. Read and accept the Terms of Service, then tap Request.
4. Follow the instructions for the verification.
5. You may reset your password after your request is approved.
6. Log in WeChat via WeChat ID and new password.
Note:
1. After using the new password to successfully log in to WeChat, all previous linked accounts will automatically be unlinked.
2. It's suggested to reset the password by using the last account login device.
If you continue to encounter issues and are unable to log in to WeChat:
1. Try to fix the problem by requesting account recovery as above, if the request does not success, please screenshot the error message which is shown at the end of the request.
