1. Log in via Mobile number and SMS code
(1) Tap More Options at the bottom of the WeChat login screen
(2) Select Log in to Another Account
(3) On the Log In via Mobile Number screen, select your mobile's region code and enter the correct mobile number. Ensure that this number is linked to your WeChat ID
(4) Tap Next, then tap Log in via SMS verification code
(5) Tap Send, and you will receive a SMS verification code from WeChat. Enter the code and tap Log In.
(6) To ensure that you can receive the verification code smoothly, please temporarily disable any antivirus apps that may block SMS messages from unknown senders. Additionally, if you are traveling to a different country from the one associated with your registered number, you may need to enable roaming services.
2. Log in via linked email address and retrieved password
(1) Tap Unable to log in? at the bottom of the WeChat login screen.
(2) Tap Email Linked, enter your linked email address, and then tap Next.
(3) An email will be sent to your linked email address. Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.
(4) To log in to WeChat, tap More Options at the bottom of login page > Log in to Another Account > Other Login Options > Log in via WeChat ID/Email/QQ ID > enter your email address and new WeChat password > Log In.
3. Log in via QQ ID and QQ password
(1) Tap More Options at the bottom of the WeChat login screen.
(2) Select Log in to Another Account.
(3) Tap Other Login Options > Log in via WeChat ID/Email/QQ ID .
(4) Enter your linked QQ ID and QQ password, then tap Log In.
Note: If you have forgotten your QQ password, you can retrieve your password by visiting
aq.qq.com.
4. Log in via Facebook
(1) Tap More Options at the bottom of the WeChat login screen.
(2) Select Log in to Another Account.
(3) Tap Other Login Options > Log in via Facebook.
(4) Tap Connect To Facebook, enter the mobile number or email and Facebook password, and then tap Log In.
