What do I do if I receive an "Incorrect new password" error message when logging in after my request to reset my password has been approved?
Your issue may be caused by one of the following issues:

1. Incorrect password
When entering the new password, make sure that you are entering the correct characters or numbers. Common mistakes include mistakenly entering the number "0" when the password uses the letter "o".

2. Incorrect login mode 
To log in to WeChat with your new password, Select "WeChat ID" as your log in method and log in via WeChat ID + WeChat password. If you log in to WeChat via an unlinked mobile number/QQ ID/email address/Facebook, WeChat will remind you that the entered password is incorrect.

3. Incorrect WeChat ID
Be sure that you've entered the correct characters and numbers. Common mistakes include entering in the "-" character when the user name is supposed to use the "_" character instead.
