Check your phone's volume first. Video initially plays without sound in order to avoid undue disturbance, but the audio will play when tapping a Video to expand to full-scale.

Note: From WeChat version 6.5.1, the video will play in full-scale. To avoid undue disturbance, long press the video before you tap to play it, and choose Silent Play to play it without sound.
