Click the search bar or icon from the Chats screen and enter a search term and the search screen will display contacts, chat history, Official Accounts, Official Account articles, Enterprise Accounts, favorites, features, Moments postings, and places nearby related to your search.
Note:
1. Users registered outside Mainland China will only receive search Official Accounts results from outside of Mainland China. Official Accounts articles will also not be part of the search results.
2. You need to permit WeChat to use the Location service on your phone before searching for any local services.
3. The Search feature is only available for iOS and Android users.
4. Searching Moments is currently not supported for users registered in North and South America.
