After linking your mobile number to WeChat, follow steps below to see which friends in your mobile contacts are using WeChat:
Enter WeChat > tap "+" the the upper right > Add Contacts > Mobile Contacts > follow the instructions to upload and view your mobile contacts > tap Add to add them as WeChat contacts.
Note: Upload your mobile contacts do not indicate that they have been added as WeChat friends. Only after you tap the "Add" button and they accept your friend request can be added successfully.
